Brand Guidelines
Introduction
The “Fractional Coordinator” name, logo, and all related marks are the property of Fractional Coordinator. These guidelines are designed to help our partners, clients, educational institutions, compliance professionals, and other third parties understand how to use and display our trademarks and copyrighted materials correctly.
We provide these guidelines because consistent, accurate brand use is essential. It protects the integrity of our work and supports the trust and professionalism that compliance requires.

Wordmark
Our wordmark is the foundation of our visual identity. It is set in a professional sans serif typeface that balances institutional authority with approachability, because compliance does not have to feel cold.
The proportions are fixed to maintain consistency across campuses, documents, presentations, and digital platforms. The mark can be scaled to any size, but the relationship between the letterforms remains constant.
Our primary wordmark must have the required clear space around it and should always appear on a clean, uncluttered background.
Symbol
Our symbol mark represents the structure and support at the heart of compliance work. The geometric composition reflects regulatory frameworks while the balanced design speaks to our role as coordinators who bring together policy, people, and process.
The mark may appear on its own in settings where Fractional Coordinator is already clearly identified, but in most situations the full wordmark is recommended.
Our primary wordmark must have the required clear space around it and should always appear on a clean, uncluttered background.

Typrography
Font
Our primary typeface is Switzer by Indian Type Foundry. It offers a balance of professional authority and true accessibility. It carries the weight needed for policy driven documents while remaining readable for training materials that people need to absorb quickly and clearly.
Switzer includes multiple weights suited for different uses, but we rely on Regular for both headings and body text to maintain a clean, minimal aesthetic. We apply a consistent hierarchy in all materials so information is easy to scan and understand.

Usage terms
The term “Marks” refers to all identifiers associated with Fractional Coordinator, including our name, logo, symbol, and related visual or design elements. Use of these Marks acknowledges our sole ownership and affirms that any goodwill arising from their use accrues exclusively to Fractional Coordinator.
Permission to use our Marks is granted with the following conditions:
Use must conform to these brand guidelines and reflect the professional standards of the compliance field.
Permission is limited, non exclusive, and non transferable; it may not be extended to third parties.
Our Marks may not appear more prominently than the name or marks of your institution.
We may modify these guidelines, and continued use of our Marks must follow any updates within a reasonable period.
We reserve the right to review usage and request revisions to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with our brand.
We may withdraw permission at any time, and all use must cease immediately upon notice.
When referencing Fractional Coordinator in institutional materials, accuracy is essential. Descriptions of our services should reflect the specific work performed such as Title IX process support, ADA and 504 coordination, interim leadership, policy review, or compliance infrastructure development.
To avoid confusion regarding employment status, our Marks may not be used in institutional titles, department names, or designations that imply staff affiliation. Our role is fractional, advisory, and consultative in nature.
In collaborative materials, emphasize the substantive impact of our work rather than reliance on branding. For example, statements like “Strengthened our Title IX response framework” or “Enhanced ADA compliance protocols” more accurately represent the outcomes of our partnership than references to using “Fractional Coordinator systems.”
