Data & Systems Analyst
Hybrid | Portland, Oregon (Preferred) | Full-Time | Exempt
Fractional Coordinator, Inc. helps institutions move through complexity with clarity, building systems of fairness that protect both people and purpose. We partner with universities, K–12 districts, and mission-driven organizations to strengthen equity, compliance, and accountability infrastructures across education and the public sector.
We believe compliance is not just about meeting standards but shaping them. Our work connects policy, people, and institutional systems to create change that is sustainable, transparent, and built to last.
About the Role
The Compliance Data & Systems Analyst plays a critical role in connecting data, compliance, and institutional strategy. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining tools that transform compliance data into actionable insights, helping organizations monitor risk, track trends, and make evidence-based decisions.
You’ll work closely with investigators, policy experts, and leadership to design dashboards, automate reporting, and analyze patterns across Title IX, ADA/504, and broader equity programs. The role requires equal parts analytical rigor, technical fluency, and a deep understanding of the human and policy dimensions of compliance work.
This is a systems-builder role, ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between data analysis and organizational ethics.
What You’ll Do
Design, manage, and optimize case tracking and compliance data systems (e.g., Maxient, i-Sight, Case IQ, or Power BI integrations).
Develop custom dashboards and reports that visualize trends in investigations, accessibility, and policy implementation.
Conduct data audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality in case management.
Analyze metrics on case timelines, supportive measures, and outcomes to identify operational improvements.
Collaborate with investigators and policy leads to translate data findings into institutional recommendations.
Develop templates and data definitions that standardize how compliance metrics are collected and interpreted.
Support clients in preparing federal or state reporting related to Title IX, ADA/504, and equity compliance.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve workflow efficiency and data integrity.
Present findings to leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams in clear, accessible formats.
Who You Are
You have 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, compliance systems, or institutional research, ideally within higher education, K–12, or the public sector.
You have hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
You understand the operational frameworks of Title IX, ADA/504, and equity compliance, or are eager to learn them deeply.
You are highly proficient with Excel, SQL, or database management, and skilled at ensuring data accuracy and structure.
You bring curiosity and precision to your work—balancing technical ability with ethical awareness.
You are an effective communicator who can make complex data meaningful to non-technical audiences.
You thrive in a remote, collaborative environment where clarity and accountability matter.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Data Analytics, Public Policy, or related field preferred.
What You’ll Gain
Salary Range: $90,000–$118,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Remote-First Flexibility (Pacific Time Zone preferred)
Employer-Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
401(k) with Employer Contributions after six months
